Stories of children’s abuses in religion centres and schools by those that are meant to bring them up in the way they should go, is on the rise.
Often we drop off our children and become very relax, because we feel that we have entrusted them to saints. We see people, who could be religion’s leaders, counselors, noble men, professionals, educationists, close family friends, relations, and so on; as people we can completely trust.
The crest of such folly is that, some even trust religions leaders the way they would God; seeing their children in the hands of these people as been in the hands of God. But this is self-deception; as even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
While it is not wrong to trust people that may be worthy of been trusted, one should check on them regularly to ensure that those things they have, which bought our trust, are intact. When we trust, we must be ready to act on our trust; and not ignore the need for action. In trusting God, Paul said if you show him your faith, he will show you his faith by his works.
Careful examination and people-testing is required; evaluating continuously; to safeguard all that we have, anywhere; even in sacred places!
