Overcomers!

It is common to hear people say that all fingers are not equal, while referring to the human status ladder in the society.

A look at the fingers-the ten of them; show that they seem happy together. They all sat on the edge of the hand, working together. None seems to be a problem to the other! They are not equal, yet all working together, washing one another clean, and overcoming by moving heavy objects much more than them together; all for the benefit of the whole body!

Yes! Everyone is not equal, but all are important for the success of any organization-country, state, region, and so on.

The English Standard Version of the Bible says that “each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”…and that a person has only one body, but many parts; and if the whole body were an eye, it would not be able to hear; neither will it be able to see, If the whole body were an ear. The body suffers if one part suffers.

Those that feel they have, and may not need the other, or those that take what belongs to all, converting it for their personal use, are not only destroying the common good, but also shooting at themselves; and all that will come through them.

It is a fair saying then to say that we should all look to the interests of others; doing what is good; willing to share; and not depriving others of their good.

Then, we will overcome!
